This statement from Jeff Bezos comes just days after The Washington Post (WP) announced that it would not make any political endorsements for the upcoming U.S elections.
It is rumoured that Bezos, the owner of the Washington Post, killed the idea that the newspaper should endorse Kamala Harris.
Reportedly, many WP readers, who are also Democrat voters, have cancelled their subscription in response to the announcement.
Bezos’s statement could be an attempt to control the damage.
