Andrew MacDougall/Toronto Star: The sad fact for our politics is that neither Carney or Poilievre will be judged on their merits until Trump is put back in some sort of cage. The weirder and wilder Trump gets, the more Carney will reap the advantage he first found during the last election campaign.
