Raj: Carney want someone else to say no to pipeline?

Althia Raj: Ask federal Liberals that question and you get different answers. MPs, who were briefed about an upcoming memorandum of understanding with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith at their weekly caucus meeting, had many different things to say about federal blessing for a pipeline proposal going to B.C.‘s northwestern coast. Some believe Carney wants to get to a “yes.” Others believe the prime minister wants to say “no,” and that the vehement opposition of Indigenous groups and B.C. Premier David Eby are a cover to get there. Then there are others who aren’t sure what to believe…
